Programme structure
- In-person group coaching
Join the free NHS-backed programme designed to help prevent type 2 diabetes and stay healthy. Over nine months, our qualified coaches will provide 13 fun and engaging sessions supporting you to make small manageable changes that last.
- Never feel alone
Join a group of like-minded people and receive ongoing support from your dedicated coach throughout the entire programme. You can connect with others on the same journey, sharing experiences and staying motivated every step of the way.
- Extra support
If space allows, you’re welcome to bring a friend or family member for additional support. The programme also provides support for non-English speakers to ensure everyone can benefit.
The face-to-face group-based programme has 4 stages:
- Initial assessment
Join the free NHS-backed programme designed to help prevent type 2 diabetes and stay healthy. Over nine months, our qualified coaches will provide 13 fun and engaging sessions supporting you to make small manageable changes that last.
- Choose your group
Join a group of like-minded people and receive ongoing support from your dedicated coach throughout the entire programme. You can connect with others on the same journey, sharing experiences and staying motivated every step of the way.
- Attend your sessions
You’ll work through your prevention programme with your coach, tailored on nutrition, physical activity, and lasting lifestyle changes. You won’t be alone. Your coach will support you every step of the way as you take control of your blood glucose levels and reduce your risk of type 2 diabetes.
- Programme completion
If space allows, you’re welcome to bring a friend or family member for additional support. The programme also provides support for non-English speakers to ensure everyone can benefit.
